Admission Requirements for Post-UTME/ DE Candidates: GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programme: 5 credits at the SSCE/NECO/GCE Examinations or their equivalent (in not more than 2 sittings); one sitting only for Medicine & Surgery.
NOTE:
• Admission into Babcock University undergraduate programmes is only through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Direct Entry (JAMB DE).
• Only UTME and DE candidates who selected Babcock University as the first choice are eligible for the Post-UTME.

BABCOCK UNIVERSITY, ILISHAN-REMO, OGUN STATE ADMISSION INTO SCHOOL OF FOUNDATION STUDIES, 2026/2027 SESSION Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the School of Foundation Studies, Babcock University for the 2026/2027
Academic Session. Application opens on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Highly successful candidates after an approved examination administered by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), are eligible for consideration for Direct Entry admission into the 200 Level of the Degree Programmes of the University through Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Please note that the programme does not currently have facilities for the visually impaired and is strictly a residential programme. Admission Requirements: A minimum of Five credits (English Language, Mathematics and three relevant Subjects) obtained at not more than two sitting at the SSCE/WASSC,GCE /O’LEVEL/NECO with results obtained before registration. • However, candidates who did not select Babcock University as institution of first choice can apply, BUT are required to make Babcock University as institution of first choice at any accredited JAMB CBT Centre in order to complete the Admission process.
Fresh Foreign
Eligibility Requirements
Admission Requirements for Fresh Foreign Candidates:
• Obtain an equivalent of the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or General Certificate of Education (GCE).
• Send an equivalent of O’level results to the Babcock University Registrar or via email to international.admissions@babcock.edu.ng O’level in language other than English must be accompanied by a validated English translation.
• All non-English speaking candidates will be required to write English proficiency test during the screening exercise.
• Wait for a notification letter from Babcock University before arriving on campus.
• Obtain a student residence/study permit or visa to qualify for study at Babcock University.
• Upon arrival on campus, report to the Registrar’s Office (Admissions) with relevant documents, after which you will be directed to State JAMB Office to process your admission

Academic Session. Application opens on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Highly successful candidates after an approved examination administered by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), are eligible for consideration for Direct Entry admission into the 200 Level of the Degree Programmes of the University through Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Please note that the programme does not currently have facilities for the visually impaired and is strictly a residential programme. Admission Requirements: A minimum of Five credits (English Language, Mathematics and three relevant Subjects) obtained at not more than two sitting at the SSCE/WASSC,GCE /O’LEVEL/NECO with results obtained before registration. No awaiting results! 1. Students that want to study Law, Medicine and Nursing can only come in through UTME Admission into Babcock University. 2. The entrance examination shall hold at a date to be communicated later. 3. Mode of entrance examination: Computer-based Tests. All Questions are Multiple Choice. 4.
